MSU STEM Students Release Jazz Album
The Kellan Moore Trio is a three-piece group that consists of Kellan Moore (piano), Jaden Hopkins (bass) and Carston Putnam (drummer). The three musicians are students in STEM programs at Montana State and found their rhythm together at MSU’s Jazz Workshop Band and the One O’clock Jazz Ensemble. Since 2022, the trio has performed together more than 20 times at various events hosted across the MSU campus. But now, their music is making it on the airwaves up and out of campus with the release of their debut album, Something More.
